The Bible is replete with tales of youth who were integral to God's design.
David
One of the most well-known young people in the Bible is perhaps David. When he was a young shepherd, he used only a sling and a stone to battle the enormous Goliath, displaying great faith and courage. David's journey to become one of Israel's greatest rulers began with this courageous deed, which not only kept Israel safe from the Philistines.
Joseph
When Joseph was just a teenager, his envious brothers sold him into slavery. He stuck to God in the face of adversity. He finally ascended to the position of second-most authority in Egypt thanks to his integrity and knowledge, and there he helped rescue countless lives during a catastrophic famine.
Samuel
At a very young age, Samuel's mother, Hannah, devoted him to God. Under the supervision of Priest Eli, he grew up at the temple. As a prophet, Samuel was instrumental in establishing Saul and David as the first two rulers of Israel.
Daniel
When Daniel was brought to Babylon as a captive, he was a young man. He ascended to a prominent position in the Babylonian and Persian empires thanks to his unshakeable faith in God, which enabled him to interpret dreams and visions. His tale serves as an example of the effectiveness of prayer and faith.
Esther
Esther was a young Jewish lady who rose to the position of Persian queen. Her people were spared a scheme to harm them because to her courage and insight. She is praised for her bravery and her readiness to put her life in danger to protect her people.
These tales demonstrate that being older need not prevent one from having a big influence. These young people's faith, bravery, and obedience enabled God to operate in extraordinary ways through them. Regardless of our age or circumstances, we are motivated to serve God totally and to have faith in His purpose by their example.
I hope you have an amazing youth day!
