Gospel in Greensleeves Episode One: The Greatest Music

Bella was excited about the music competition at her school. The winner will present their musical voice at the funfair festivals along with other musicians, which will be in the Summer. Some will do it solo, while others will do it in groups or pairs.

Bella can play an instrument as she and her magical friends once defeated the Sirens to free the humans and the magical creatures from under their dark spell, but Bella cannot sing. She can play all sorts of instruments: triangle, sousaphone, Theremin, grand piano, violin, flute, and harp. Every time she sang any song even the simple song, her voice was cringing. Her favourite one was the gospel and this time she was going to create her gospel song.

Bella pondered how to write her gospel song without singing as she sat in her room surrounded by her collection of instruments. She chose to ask for assistance from one of her supernatural pals.

The nightingale-voiced fairy Flower, who was her first friend, said, "Bela, why don't you let the instruments sing for you? Everyone can contribute a portion of the music." Even though Flower cannot join the musical competition at her school, as the school's students are humans, she can support her human friend.

Bella's eyes brightened. "Flower, that is such a great concept! We can compose a gospel music symphony.

They started making plans. Bella would play the high notes on the flute, the violin for harmony, and the grand piano for the main melody. Flower would guide her.

The most exquisite gospel music entered Bella's room as they rehearsed. Every sound resonated with happiness and hope as if the instruments had come to life. Bella had a feeling of success. Her music spoke eloquently despite her inability to sing.

Bella and her classmates presented their gospel symphony on the day of the competition. Lyra's captivating voice and the well-balanced instrumentation captivated the audience. The audience cheered when they were done.

Bella came to understand that music was about expressing oneself in whatever way imaginable, not simply singing. Her instruments had helped her find her voice, and the music she had made was the best she had ever done.
