We live in an electrical simulation

The concept that we might be living in a simulated reality has gained attention, especially with the rise of the Simulation Theory or Simulation Hypothesis. Here are some points to consider from a biblical perspective:

Creation by God: In Genesis 1:1 (KJV), it is stated, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The Bible asserts that God is the Creator of the universe. While we may not fully comprehend how God exists outside of our cause-and-effect understanding, the Bible affirms His existence without attempting to explain the mystery.

Eternal Souls: According to the Bible, humans have eternal souls. Regardless of whether we live in a simulated world or not, our spirits continue to exist beyond physical life (Matthew 25:46). This eternal aspect aligns with the biblical teaching that our souls are not confined to a simulated reality.

Accountability and Responsibility: If we were mere characters in a simulated universe, devoid of true responsibility for our actions, it would undermine the concept of moral accountability. However, the Bible emphasizes personal responsibility and accountability before God.

Post-Destruction Continuation: Revelation 21:3 describes a future where Christians will live with God even after the universe is destroyed. Our existence transcends the material world, reinforcing the idea that we are not merely part of a simulation.

In summary, while the Simulation Theory is intriguing, the Bible points to a Creator who cares about us and grants us purpose beyond any simulated existence.
