Matthew 6:34 advises: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Or, to put it another way, remember that every day brings with it new problems, so try not to dwell too much on the past.
Proverbs 16:9: “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” This verse emphasizes that while we may make plans, ultimately, God guides our paths.
Proverbs 19:21: “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” Our intentions and plans may be many, but God’s purpose prevails.
Psalm 37:23: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Trust that God orders the steps of those who seek to follow Him.
Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has good plans for His people.
Remember, while planning is important, it’s essential to remain open to God’s guidance and trust in His providence.
