Ten Commandments 3: Not to take God's name in vain

We often hear people say "Oh God!" or "Oh my God." in books, songs, movies and real life. But is that a sin? That depend. If they are talking to Him or about Him, then it's alright, but if they say because they feel like, then it's wrong. Even if you say "Jesus!" or any different languages that mean God, it still count.

Why do people say it even though they are not talking about Him or to Him? Because of their feelings. If you are angry, sad and depressed and you are not talking to God, you can say "Seriously?!" "Oh no.", "Oh my." "Come on!"

But what about "Oh my gosh." is kind of same.

Never made fun of His name. You don't want your name to be fun of.
