Ten Commandments 1: No gods but God

The first ten commandments said "You shall have no other gods but Me." We must never worship any gods, but the God.

God is the only one who created the world. He can answer your prayers. He was the one who led his people out of Egypt, to save them for being slave.

Sadly there are some people that prayed to other gods.

Remember, not all believers called God in English, they called in their language. For example Indian Christians may called their God 'Bhawgan' because it is a Hindi word. God understand everyone's languages. I sometimes pray in Arabic. Most of the time I pray in English. Before you say that's a false god, you must ask if it's another word from any languages.

There are some stories in the Bible, where people trust the gods, instead of one true God. Like Elijah, he challenged prophets of Baal. They sacrificed bull and put it on the wood. Elijah offered them to go first. They called their god's name. They started to sang, dance and played a loud instrument. All was in vain. They were exhausted. Then it was Elijah's turn. He felt down on his knee and prayed. Then there was a grey clouds and the lighting hit the meat and burnt it. People realised that God is the Lord and begged for forgiveness. After they repented, He let the rain, rain the land of Israel, which have been dry, for 3 years.

Don't mess with Him. He is the and only God.
