Jesus was arrested. Priest were jealous of Jesus and wanted him to died, so they meet the people to go against him.
The Roman Government Pontius Pilate knew that Jesus was innocent, but he could not to anything to save Jesus.
So Jesus was taken a place called Golgotha, also known as the skull hill, outside Jerusalem where he would be crucified and put to death.
Two other thieves were also been put to death along with Jesus.
Jesus was put on the cross, nailed on his hands and feet by the Romans and set up right on the ground.
It was very painful. His hands and feet were bleeding. Then he looked at John and said "John. Mary will be your mother." and he looked at Mary and said "Mary. John will be your son." He also asked God to forgive them and with his final word "It is finished" and breath, he died.
This is also known as Good Friday.
