Good Friday

We commemorate Jesus' death on Good Friday as atonement for our sins. It was undoubtedly the greatest day in human history, but it was also one of the worst. Jesus gave His life on Good Friday in order to demonstrate to us what pure love looks like.

Since each of us has sinned, our sin has caused a rift with God. Being cut off from God for all eternity is the price of sin. Although Jesus was blameless throughout His entire life, on Good Friday so many years ago, He made the decision to bear the consequences of our guilt. Jesus endured great suffering and death on the cross in order to grant us eternal life if we trust in Him. Remembering what Jesus went through to make it possible, as well as the fact that Jesus overcame death and is now alive, should never be forgotten!
