The Sacrifice

This story is quite familiar and it might remind you of someone from the Bible.

Once upon a time, under the sea, ruled by the king, he had eight daughters. The youngest one was just a child. Whenever the princess turned 18, they swam to the surface to see the sky, the mountain and they might see ships with humans.

Years later, the little mermaid finally turned 18. Just like her older sisters, she swam. She saw a ship filled with people. She saw a prince, he was celebrating his birthday. Then there was a storm. The prince fell down. She swam to rescue the prince and took him safely to the shore. When she saw other humans coming, she left, but she hid behind the large rock. The prince opened his eyes and saw a lady. He thought it was her.

The little mermaid went to meet the sea witch and told her that she wanted human legs. The sea witch agreed and she wanted the princess to trade her voice. She told her that the prince must fall in love with her, before the sunset, otherwise she would turn into a sea foam.

She swam until she reached the shore and she got legs. She got up to her feet, but couldn't walk. Every time she walked, she felt pain, but couldn't scream. She went to the palace and saw a prince. There was a wedding of the prince and the lady. The prince saw her and thought that she might look familiar.

It was almost time and after the wedding was over (it was on the ship), everyone left, except her. She saw her older sister. All of their hairs have been cut. One of the sisters gave her a dagger and told to kill him in order to avoid becoming a sea form. She went to the room where the prince was sleeping. She held the knife close to her heart and was about to kill him, but she refused.

She went back with a knife, no blood. She threw the dagger into the sea and jumped. She turned into a sea form. But then something amazing happened, she transformed into an air fairy and lived with the others, as a reward.

Jesus, sacrifice himself to save all of us from our sins and 3 days later he rose from the dead and went to Heaven alive. Jesus cared for everyone.
