Alice was a princess and the heir to the throne. She had a fair skin, flowing light brown hair and blue eyes. Her dress was long, flowing purple gown with gold trims. The sleeves are long and extended from the wrist area. The crown was made of gold and it had patterns and gemstones.

One day, she was learning Latin and was bored, because she never went out to see the people. It was her parent's order. They wanted to protect their only heir. Even if they gave Alice their permission, they would have a guard to be her company.

She wore a blue hooded cloak and sneaked outside. When she stepped out for the first time, she felt happy. She began to explored the village. The people were chattering, selling, buying and trading. Then her eyes caught on a girl, same age as her. She was wearing a long, draped garment made of rough, natural fabric. She was holding a large wicker basket and she was selling a purple flowers. She cheerful said "Come and get your flowers. Fresh flowers. Come and get one!" but no one was interested and they walked passed her, ignoring her. The princess was kind enough to gave her money to a girl. The girl thanked her, she doesn't know that it was a princess. Princess Alice, for the first time, gave order to her that she should sell different kind of flowers or anything from her house or in her garden. The girl said "I will do as you said. By the way my name is Emma."

"Hello Emma. I'm Alice."

"Named after a princess?"

"Yes. But there are many girls and women who are called Alice."

Princess Alice made a promise that she would come everyday after breakfast and helped her to survived for her family. That what she did. Her parents didn't even noticed that.

2 weeks later and everything was perfect. Emma and her family now had a beautiful and fresh meals. Princess Alice gave Emma and her family a fresh clothes. As a gift, as a reward, the Princess was given a necklace of gold chain with large, round pendant. The pendant was adorned with multiple gemstones of various colours and sizes. Her mother, Isabella, asked her to revealed her true self. She breathed in and revealed herself.

"Your highness!" her father and the others bowed down.

Emma cannot believed that it was the princess all along.

The next day, Emma was taken to a castle. Princess Alice introduced to her parents and told her that it happened when she went outside. At first her parents were frustrated, but when they listened to her reasons, they beamed and was proud of her deeds.

Two girls were at the garden. Emma never see this type of garden before. It had neatly trimmed hedges, the pathways are made of light-coloured gravel, gently curving through the greenery. As they walked along these paths, the crunch of gravel underfoot provides a smoothing sound. Among the foliage, there were tall flowering plants with red blooms. The garden bathed in soft sunlight.

Princess Alice did visited Emma's garden before. It was humble garden, with grassy meadows, growing crops included peas, beans and onions, which were used to make a thick stew called pottage. There were fruit trees like apples and pears.

Two girls became best friend. And when she became Queen, she visited the villagers and even spend time with them, especially on special occasions like Christmas and Easter. She invited them to her castle. Emma became her servant.
