Hi, my name is Iqra Toqeer, I'm 18 years old and I was born in England.
Despite not being extremely devout, my family is Muslim and they still hold certain beliefs. When I was a kid, they took me for a lesson on the Quran. I was informed that I should worship Allah alone and not any other gods because He is the only real God.
Both in primary and secondary school, I experienced bullying. I wanted to commit suicide because I was so angry. All I desire is serenity.
When I was twelve years old, on Christmas eve in 2017, I was browsing YouTube to pick the finest video to watch when I came across the first Superbook episode, "In the beginning." That was the beginning of my first taste of Christianity. The tales found in the Bible are the foundation of Superbook. I even tuned in to Superbook. I felt closer to it the longer I watched it.
Then coronavirus came. I was 14 when it happened. I watched 3 Christian movies that are based on true stories:

A few months later, I came into the IsaandIslam website. The believers will win Muslims to Christ. It wasn't until June 2022 that I communicated with them. I had a lot of inquiries concerning the Bible and Jesus. I ultimately came to the conclusion that it was time for me to accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour after having so many conversations.
Although it's a journey, Jesus is the solution. The new life is just getting started. The new me has emerged, and the old me is no more.
His influence on my life has made me proud.
