On 25th February 2023, I asked Jaslyn, one of the member of IsaandIslam, to share her testimony. I shared mine to her. One day later, she emailed me. Here is the story that she has wrote.
'I grew up in a family with no religion and lived in fear everyday until we moved to a safer town. I was weak and had severe asthma so I couldn't participate in any physical activities. My mom took me to a witch doctor who gave me a charm. I didn't have an inhaler so when I got sick, I had a hard time breathing and couldn't sleep for several days.
I was hospitalized twice with other illnesses. The doctor misdiagnosed me with hepatitis A but I had dengue fever, an illness caused by mosquitoes. My neighbor who got the same disease died.
I was very depressed and angry because of my health problems and other trauma. After hearing about Jesus from a Christian teacher, I told God if He is real, please heal my asthma and trauma. Then I threw away all the medication and the charm in the trash can without telling my parents.
After several years, I realized my health kept getting better. The last time I got an asthma attack was when I was pregnant. Now, I can get an asthma attack if I laugh nonstop. God truly has a sense of humor.
Someone brought me to her church when I was 18 and 6 months later I accepted Jesus Christ as my God and Savior for the repentance of my sins. She told me to buy a Bible but I never studied it until I was 40 years old. I started studying NKJV and other versions for over 12 years, but I was still confused and had many unanswered questions.
During covid, I started investigating King James Bible for one year and discovered that KJV 1611 is the living and most powerful word of God. It is now my most precious possession.'
