Jesus Is The Light (Diwali)

Today it's Diwali. Diwali is one of the Hindu's festival that have been celebrated over thousands years. It come from the Sanskrit word 'Deepawali' which mean 'rows of light' It is also known as 'The Festival Of Lights.'

Even though Diwali has many stories, the most popular one is Prince Ram, with his brother Lakshmana, rescuing his wife Sita who has been kidnapped by an evil demon Ravana, who had ten heads and ten arms, who took her to Sri Lanka. He killed him and saved his wife and they went back to home. The people saw him coming and put a light to guide them, because it was night time. If you want to know about the story you can search it or watch a video.

This remind me of Lord Jesus. He is the light of the world. He overcome the darkness. One day, He will come back and removed all the damage on Earth and set the World right, with beauty and happiness. He shall be King!

When we walked with His light, we're not afraid. Jesus is always with us.

Now, I lived in England. England is not a Hindu's country, but there are Hindus celebrating Diwali every year. They even lit a fireworks. I even heard it and saw it banging in the air, last night and I bet they are going to the the same tonight.

I wish all the Hindus a Happy Diwali!
