The waves of faith (Exo 12:1-31, 16:1-15; Mat 14:26-31) -

Exodus 12:1-31 (KJV) recounts the institution of the Passover and how the Israelites prepared to leave Egypt. This passage illustrates faith in action as the Israelites followed God's instructions to the letter, leading to their liberation from slavery.


Exodus 16:1-15 (KJV) describes how God provided manna from heaven to the Israelites in the wilderness. Despite their grumblings and doubts, God's provision demonstrated His faithfulness and the importance of trust and obedience.


Matthew 14:26-31 (KJV) tells the story of Jesus walking on water and Peter's attempt to join Him. When Peter's faith wavered, he began to sink, but Jesus reached out and saved him. This passage highlights the need for unwavering faith in Christ, especially in challenging circumstances.


These passages collectively emphasize faith as trust in God's promises and faithfulness, regardless of the situation. They show how faith involves obedience, trust, and reliance on divine guidance.
