Heavenly Father,
We approach You with sad hearts, weighted with the strife and misery that continue to exist in Gaza and Israel. We pray for Your heavenly peace and comfort to envelop everyone impacted by the conflict.
Lord, we pray for:
For individuals who have lost loved ones, homes, and a sense of security. May Your strength and comfort be with them.
For the defenceless who are caught in the crossfire, especially kids. Keep them safe and give them hope for a better tomorrow.
Those in positions of leadership and decision-making, that they prioritise the welfare of their people and work towards amicable solutions.
For violently divided societies. Assist them in re-establishing unity and finding common ground.
Please remind us of Your promise of peace during these turbulent times. Help us to be channels of Your mercy and compassion, standing out for peace and justice and helping those in need.
We ask this in Your holy name.
