Seven teenage girls were at the kitchen of a cosy cottage in Greensleeves. They were bustling around, preparing food for Thanksgiving Day.
"I can't believe it's Thanksgiving already! This is going to be the best feast ever!" Bella said in her cheerful voice.
Mary beamed "And the best part is, we get to share it with everyone in Greensleeves."
"And let's not forget the real reason we're celebrating. It's not just about the food, it's about gratitude and giving thanks to God." Elizabeth was chopping the vegetables.
Kate agreed with Elizabeth. Katherine stirred a pot "I'm grateful for all of you. You guys are like my family."
Anne smiled warmly at Katherine.
Jane was setting the table, putting seven plates and seven glasses on the table. The girls gathered around the table, which was now laden with heavenly food. They hold hands and bowed their heads in prayer.
Anne was leading the prayer "Dear Lord, we thank You for this meal and for bringing us together today. We are grateful for Your blessings and for the love and friendship we share. Amen."
"Amen." The girls said together.
They began to ate, chat and laughed as they enjoyed the meal.
Bella bites her food and happily said "This is amazing! Everyone did such a great job."
Mary looked around the table "It's not just the food. It's love and effort we put into it. That's what makes it special."
Elizabeth raised her glass. "To friendship, love and gratitude. Let's always remember to give thanks for what we have."
Kate clinked her glass with Elizabeth's "And let's always be there for each other, no matter what."
Katherine gave her friends a warm smile "Cheers to that!" Jane raised her glass "And to many Thanksgiving together!"
After the meal, the girls gathered around the fireplace, feeling content and happy. They were very pleased and declared that this Thanksgiving Day was special that the usually Thanksgiving Day.
