From the beginning of the year (Deu 11:8-12)

Deuteronomy 11:8-12 - "Therefore, keep all the commandments that I command you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land that you are going over to possess, and that you may live long in the land that the LORD swore to your ancestors to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

For the land that you are entering to take possession of is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, like a vegetable garden. But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, a land that the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year."

In simpler terms, these verses instruct the Israelites to obey God's commandments so they can be strong and successfully take possession of the promised land. Unlike Egypt, where they had to manually water the crops, the new land is naturally watered by rain and watched over by God throughout the year, making it a land of abundant blessings.
