2 Peter 3:9

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

It talks about God's timing when we look at God's promises in the Bible some of them were given hundreds of years before they actually happened. It may seen that God is moving a bit slow but it is really because of His love for us and others.

Do you remember that the Bible say "Love is patient." In first Corinthians 13? God wants to give everyone a chance to repent and respond to His patience allows even the most stubborn heart a chance to accept Jesus and His offer of forgiveness then their sins can be washed away and they can be reunited with God and in heaven.
